About Marisa & Eleonora

Meet Marisa Mieczkowski, a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and children's author. Marisa is a graduate from Grand Valley State University and received her Master's in ABA from Ball State University.  Marisa has spent her career working with individuals with disabilities, predominantly Autism Spectrum Disorder. A big part of her day to day is inspiring others to embrace the traits they have that are uniquely theirs and encouraging others to befriend people despite their differences. Her hope with writing books, is to encourage others to celebrate their individuality and make a more inclusive world for all.

When she's not writing, Marisa loves hiking, rock climbing and cheering for the Detroit Red Wings. Marisa's rescue pup, Fedorov, who is found in all her books is named after none other than Sergei Fedorov.

Eleonora Petrova is a self-taught illustrator of children's books and other cute things with 10 years of experience in digital and traditional arts.
